About us

a small team building a fairer alternative.

Five people from Hrvatsko zagorje working on an alternative to the big platforms.

Our story

how Livvi started

Lovro Tovernić is 26 and comes from Zlatar, a small town in Hrvatsko zagorje, Croatia. Before Livvi he spent three years running a marketing agency, watching hosts struggle with the same problem up close, losing up to a fifth of every booking to platforms that do nothing but pass an enquiry along. A year ago he decided to change that.

With him are co-founders Marko Sukreški, who runs finance and business development, and Leon Kranjčević, who is behind the technology. Nika handles communication with hosts, and Tomislav Tovernić handles design, from the app interface to marketing and sales materials.

Poslovni dnevnik called us 'David against Goliath', and that isn't far off. Booking and Airbnb take up to 20% of every booking. We take 2%, because we believe hosts deserve to keep what they earned instead of handing it to a middleman who only forwards an enquiry.

where we are today

We're not big. We're still building supply and still proving this works, but there are more of us every day, and every new host proves we're on the right track.
