About us

a small team building a fairer alternative.

Five people from Hrvatsko zagorje working on an alternative to the big platforms.

Our story

how Livvi started

Lovro Tovernić is 26 and comes from Zlatar, a small town in Hrvatsko zagorje, Croatia. Before Livvi he spent three years running a marketing agency, watching hosts struggle with the same problem up close — losing up to a fifth of every booking to platforms that do nothing but pass an enquiry along. A year ago he decided to change that.

With him are co-founders Marko Sukreški, who runs finance and business development, and Leon Kranjčević, who is behind the technology. Nika handles communication with hosts, and Tomislav Tovernić handles design — from the app interface to marketing and sales materials.

Poslovni dnevnik called us 'David against Goliath' — and that isn't far off. Booking and Airbnb take up to 20% of every booking. We take 2%, because we believe hosts deserve to keep what they earned instead of handing it to a middleman who only forwards an enquiry.

where we are today

We're not big. We're still building supply and still proving this works — but there are more of us every day, and every new host proves we're on the right track.
