Šljivik Stari is a house in the small village of Oljasi, in the municipality of Velika in Požega-Slavonia County, on the slopes of Papuk Nature Park. It has a big yard, and around it stretches an orchard of almost three hectares.
The best part, as they put it themselves, is perfect peace and waking up to birdsong. Parking is free, and pets can come by prior arrangement.

Velika lies on the southern slopes of Papuk, about 12 kilometres north of Požega, and is the main entrance to Papuk Nature Park from the south. Papuk was declared a nature park in 1999, and since 2015 it has also held the status of a UNESCO Global Geopark. It is known for well-preserved beech and fir forests and for rocks of very different ages.
Above Velika are the remains of the medieval fortress Velički grad, along with the Lapjak educational trail. Velika is also the usual starting point for hikers heading towards Papuk.
