eVisitor without retyping: what Livvi does for you

livvi

Registering guests is a legal obligation. When you connect eVisitor to Livvi, guests are registered automatically at booking, with no retyping of data into the portal.

Every host in Croatia registers guests in eVisitor, the Croatian National Tourist Board's system for checking guests in and out. In the middle of the season, that easily turns into evenings spent copying data from messages and emails into the portal.

what livvi does

When you connect your eVisitor account to Livvi, guests are registered automatically with every booking. You don't retype data into the eVisitor portal.

what you need to set up, once

  1. Connect your account. In Livvi, open "My account" and find the "eVisitor integration" section. Enter the username and password you use for the eVisitor portal and save. The password is stored encrypted and is no longer shown after saving.
  2. Enter the property code for each unit. When editing an accommodation unit, enter the property code you received from the tourist board when you registered the property. Without it, automatic registration doesn't work for that unit.

The property code doesn't have to be entered straight away, but it must be there before the first guest arrives.

Detailed step-by-step instructions are in the guide How to connect eVisitor.

what is still worth checking

  • Bookings from other platforms. For Booking or Airbnb reservations, Livvi only receives a blocked date through iCal, with no guest data. You register those guests as you have until now.
  • The first bookings. Automation doesn't change the fact that registering guests is your obligation. After your first bookings through Livvi, check in eVisitor that the guests were registered correctly.

why this matters to us

Most hosts have no front desk and no administrator. Every job the system can do by itself means less time on paperwork and more for guests.
