why Livvi takes only 2% per booking

livvi

We take 2% per booking. Here is how we set the price, exactly what you pay and why the first year is free.

Livvi takes 2% per booking. When you compare that with the commissions hosts are used to, it's logical to ask where the catch is. Here is the answer.

what exactly you pay

For the first 12 months, Livvi is free. After that: 2% per booking + €9.99 per month per accommodation unit (maximum €60 per month). Amounts are excluding VAT.

a tool, not an intermediary

The big platforms work as intermediaries: they stand between you and the guest. We deliberately set Livvi up differently. It's a tool you use to work with your guests, not an intermediary that sells them to you.

That's why we charge for the tool, not for brokering. The guests stay yours, and we don't take their data for ourselves.

why 2%

A direct booking has to pay off for you, whether the guest found you on Livvi for the first time or is coming back to you. If our commission were close to what you're used to on the big platforms, a direct booking would make no sense.

Illustrative example (not a real case): a booking of €700.

Amount
Livvi, 2%€14 (+VAT)
15% commission (for comparison)€105

How much a particular platform actually takes from you depends on your contract and settings, so do the comparison with your own numbers.

why the first year is free

A host first needs to see that the tool brings value, and only then pay. That's why for the first 12 months you pay nothing: no commission and no monthly fee.
