weekend booking cancelled? a last-minute offer for your apartment without writing from scratch
When dates open up a few days before arrival, there is no time to craft a post. In Livvi you have the "Last-minute offer" template and a discount code that applies only to that gap in your calendar.

It is Tuesday, and the guest who was due on Friday has just cancelled. Or you only now notice two empty nights between two bookings that nobody will book on their own. The weekend is three days away. The "we have availability" post you plan to write in the evening, once everything else is done, goes out on Thursday. Too late.
why the last minute calls for speed
When the empty dates are a month away, you have time. When they are three days away, you don't. Every day you spend thinking about the wording is one day less for someone to see it and get organised for the trip.
An empty night never comes back. Once the date has passed, that income is gone.
And when you rush, mistakes happen. You post the wrong dates. You forget the link, so people message you asking how to book. Or you offer a discount "for this weekend", and someone gets in touch about next month expecting the same deal.
how livvi solves it
In Livvi, under Marketing → "Share and promote", there is a "Last-minute offer" template. You choose your property and unit, and Livvi shows your free dates with labels such as "Soon" or "Gap". You select exactly the gap you want to fill.
Then you set the format (e.g. an Instagram post), tone, length, call to action and language. If you like, you add a discount code, switch the price display on or off and choose an image. You click "generate" and get a ready-made text with hashtags and a booking link. If it doesn't feel right, there are "Shorter", "Warmer", "Premium" and "Regenerate", plus "Translate" when you are also writing for guests from abroad.
The post goes on your Instagram or Facebook. Whoever books through the link books directly with you, and the money goes to your Stripe account.
a discount that only applies to that gap
If you add a discount to the post, set it up so it cannot "leak" to other dates. In Marketing → Discounts you limit the code to the stay dates you want to fill and, if needed, to booking dates as well. You can set a minimum number of nights, a total number of uses and a number of uses per guest. Turn on "Public / for sharing" so you can include it in your post.
Example (illustrative, not a real case): a Friday-to-Sunday booking has been cancelled. You create a 10 % discount code that only applies to a stay on those two nights, minimum 2 nights, one use in total. After one use the code is no longer valid, and it never applied to other dates.
how to do it
- If you are offering a discount, open Marketing → Discounts: choose a percentage or a fixed amount, who it applies to, the property or unit, the stay dates and the limits. Turn on "Public / for sharing" and click "create discount code".
- Open Marketing → "Share and promote" and choose the "Last-minute offer" template.
- Choose the property and unit, then select the free dates.
- Set the format, tone, length, call to action and language. Add the discount code and an image.
- Click "generate" and refine the text if needed.
- Copy the text, download the image or copy the image link, and post it on your profile.
The detailed steps are in the guides How to promote your property on social media and How to create a discount code.
before you post
Check that the dates really are free. If your Booking and Airbnb calendars are connected, Livvi sees their bookings as blocked dates. We explain how to set this up in How to avoid double bookings when you use Booking, Airbnb and Livvi.
For gaps you can see weeks ahead, the "Fill open dates" template is a better fit. We wrote about it in Empty dates in your calendar: a ready-made Instagram and Facebook post in a few clicks.
